Alice Prescott Whyte offers fine art restoration/conservation services with 30+ years experience including specialized work in the fire, smoke, soot and water damage areas. She has graduate training in the field of painting conservation and leverages that experience and confidence in working with anything from family heirlooms to major collections. No job is ever considered insignificant. She works on paintings on canvas or board, as well as prints, posters and maps. She also restores textiles.
Ms. Whyte makes house calls without obligation and projects a high level of sensitivity to clients who may be recovering from the trauma of a recent event that damaged their possessions. She is also experienced at providing full documentation to insurance companies/adjusters in support of a claim.
